Meet The Team

Simon has been working in the IT industry for over twenty years and has a wealth of experience in both IT support and management. His skills and qualifications cover many aspects of IT including, but certainly not limited to, Microsoft, Apple and Cisco. He has worked in both consultancy and support roles with a huge range of clients, including the Metropolitan Police, Emap, Thomas Cook and a whole host of small to medium businesses.

Dom is our hands-on specialist in the built environment, broadcast and events industry. His expertise lies in connectivity (WiFi and Wired) and cabling (Fibre Optic and Copper). He is a certified WiFi engineer and likes nothing more than fixing those WiFi problems that niggle away at your business, wasting time and money. Dom’s events experience means he also has a great understanding of various IT-related services connected to installation and operation.

Mark has around ten years’ experience in IT and has been with the Curve IT team since 2015. He brings with him a particular set of tech and support skills, having previously worked as a network administrator for a large multinational company. His superpowers cover all things related to servers, storage and back-up and, frankly speaking, if Mark doesn’t know about it, it doesn’t exist.

Sam is a senior engineer, specialising in converged network technology, wireless networking and cloud services. He has worked with a range clients in the built environment sector, including Essential Living, to deliver managed network services.

The second Geordie on the team (Dom being the first), Shane joined our technical support team from sunny Newcastle at the start of 2017. His Dad also worked in IT, so as a boy Shane was always messing about, breaking and rebuilding computers. A real people person, Shane is motivated by providing excellent customer service and care when resolving our clients’ IT support issues, and also being Team Leader to the Support team.

Fred serves as a 2nd Line Support Engineer, helping to design, deploy and support IT infrastructure and communications networks across a wide variety of settings, from individual offices through to major mixed-use construction projects.

Liarra helps keep our ambitious projects on track and on budget. From converged network installations to the roll-out of full fibre broadband, Liarra's careful planning and attention to detail help Curve deliver and manage technology that connects buildings, neighbourhoods, towns and cities.

Verley is a HR and people development specialist. Here at Curve she oversees training programmes and staff development initiatives. She joined Curve from Travel Nation where she was the HR and business operations manager for nearly five years.

Jo is our Project & Finance Manager for our ongoing work with construction firm Balfour Beatty. Her role oversees the installation of full fibre networks on major building projects, as well being our central figure in our Accounts process.
